Friday, July 17 2026 Galatians 5:22-23

Hey everyone! Today’s blog is going to be a little different! Each Friday for the next 9 weeks, we will be going over each fruit of the spirit. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23 (ESV) This Friday we are going over love!

Love is the first fruit and is the foundation to all other attributes. It reflects the greatest commandment that Jesus declares in Matthew 22:37, Jesus declared, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’”

his love is sacrificial and selfless, and represents God’s love for us, as shown in John 3:16. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

True christian love is not just an emotion but a commitment to reflect the love of Christ. We are to love one another, which serves as a testimony to the world. “By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:35 (ESV) ❤
