I used to think that when life got hard, I was doing something wrong. All of my waiting seasons, when I didn’t understand why the door was closed, and when I was fighting doubt, God was using all of those moments to lead me into something great. He’s not trying to make you fail, He’s making your faith deeper.

The testing of our faith is something that comes about many times in our lives as christians. We go through these trials and sufferings to grow our faith. I kind of like to think of it as strengthening a muscle. Muscles only get stronger when they are put under resistance. In the same way, our faith grows when God test us.

James 1:3 (ESV) says “because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.” Our struggles have purpose. God can and will use every disappointment, trial, and delay to strengthen our faith.

These trials can be really tough on us mentally, and even physically. I encourage each and every one of you to lean on God during these trials. In Jesus holy name, Amen ❤
